I am currently building and teaching curricula based on art and activist. I teach scholars that are split into grade levels (K-2nd grade and 3-5th grade scholars) about the revolutionary power of art and how to practice art as activism for the betterment of our community.
LEAD TECH EDUCATOR
November 2020 - December 2021
Geeking Out Kids of Color is a nonprofit organization that serves Black, Indigenous, and young People of Color through computer science and social justice education. As Lead Instructor of the ten-month long Robotics program, I developed a pedagogical blueprint as I built the entire curriculum myself. As we launched this project, I took over other responsibilities aside from curriculum building and teaching. Such responsibilities included in-person recruiting at Washington Middle School and Chief Sealth High School, onboarding and training two of my Teaching Assistants, coordinating robot part deliveries with parents and school administrators.
ALAIN LOCKE FELLOW AT MIT
Summer 2021
Philosophy in an Inclusive Key Summer Institute (PIKSI) is designed to encourage undergraduates from groups traditionally underrepresented in philosophy to consider future study of philosophy.
As a fellow, I attended and participated in the daily program presentations and built connections with Philosophy professors all over the nation and shared curricula for feedback.

Worked directly with the office manager to handle employee relations and develop their new Human Resource department. As head of HR I created and distributed their new Employee Handbook. After graduating with BBA in Human Recourse management, I moved to the CSR department where I attended our Customer Service call center, became a Technician Dispatcher, and worked with Sales department offering memberships and other services to our customers.
BBA FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT DALLAS
Obtained Bachelor of Business Administration in
Human Resource Management.
August 2016 - May 2020
CO-FOUNDER OF PHILOSOPHY CIRCLE
May 2018 - June 2020
The Philosophy Circle was a two-year personal project that sought to make Philosophy accessible for unhoused folks at The Bridge Homeless Center in Dallas. This project allowed me to work mainly with Black and immigrant adults that were in and out of the prison system, which profoundly radicalized me. We were successfully funded by the Wordsfold Grant which allowed us to bring beverage and snacks to our discussions and buy books for all of our participants.
CO-FOUNDER OF UNDERGRAD PHILOSOPHY CONFERENCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT DALLAS
Spring 2020
Undergraduate Philosophy Conference at the University of Texas at Dallas was a personal project that allowed students to prepare and present their philosophical work to faculty from the Philosophy Department. Coordinating this virtual conference at the beginning of the pandemic helped me realize how important and feasible it is to build something from scratch with the help of your own academic community.
PRESIDENT OF PHILOSOPHY CLUB AT UTD
Fall 2018 - Summer 2019
As a Sophomore and new officer of the club I attended training meetings held by the Student Organization Center, reserved rooms for the club meetings, and lead philosophical discussions over race, language, ethics, and more. A year later, I became the club's first female president and established new traditions like bringing all Philosophy Professors to our meetings and having social gatherings each week. During my presidency our membership numbers increased by at least 30% and reminded that way throughout the academic year.

WE DEMAND!
My political comic strip was published in the "radically intersectional & decolonial Xicana Feminist Publication", Muchacha Fanzine. I am very proud of this publication because reading preview issues of this zine was what empowered me to speak up against oppressive practices in the workplace. My digitally created comic strip was featured in their "Reclaiming Feminism" issue on March 8th of 2021, as a commemoration of International Women's Day.
December, 2019
COOL BEING
My most sincere poem about loving without gender constraints, Cool Being, was published in Xone Free's very first issue. Xone Free is a handcrafted, love-driven zine designed and curated by Queer and Trans People of Color. It has been an honor to be part of the beginning of such powerful and inclusive project. This first issue was published in hopes of creating a safe community for Queer and Trans students of color at the University of Texas at Dallas. This zine is now expanding to a state-wide scope and continues to be part of my own community.
